2012-12-13 14.58.02

2 1/4 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 eggs

12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.  In large bowl, mix butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract and eggs until creamy.

3.  Add all dry ingredients and mix until wet dough forms.

4.  Stir in chocolate chips.

5.  Make ~1 inch balls of dough and place on baking sheet.

6.  Bake 9-11 minutes.

So, it just doesn’t get better than this recipe.  I have tried to mess around with it and make it better but it just isn’t possible to get better than Nestle Tollhouse’s recipe.  Which brings me to a friends moment…
